Position Descriptor
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our collaborative team in 2027. At Keith War Memorial Community Kindergarten & Childcare Centre, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where children are empowered to thrive. Essential Criteria
- Strong collaboration skills; able to work effectively with teaching staff, early childhood workers, and allied professionals
- Skilled in pedagogical documentation and reflective planning
- Demonstrated ability to engage children meaningfully and contribute to their learning stories
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and its application in daily practice
Desirable Attributes
- Experience working in an integrated early childhood setting
- Strong focus on family engagement and community partnerships
- Experience in independently preparing Statements of Learning
- Experience supporting and building the capacity of children with additional needs
