As an EPeep, you'll work on projects that have a real impact on students' lives and have the freedom, support and resources you need to develop your skills and grow your career. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our English product within a cross-functional product development team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering impactful educational solutions aligned with K-12 learning best practices. This role will drive the content strategy and value proposition for English, working closely with learning design managers, curriculum leads, engineering, sales, customer success and marketing teams.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and strong collaborator who can define product direction, ensure curriculum alignment and deliver exceptional learning experiences for teachers and students, while also serving as a key representative of the English product both internally and externally.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with product leadership, regional leads and key stakeholders to set our English product's vision and strategy.
  • Identify, validate and prioritise opportunities that offer maximum value for customers and EP.
  • Stay on top of curriculum changes and integrate updates into your product roadmaps.
  • Champion pedagogy, learning science and proof of efficacy to align with K-12 best practices.
  • Develop relationships with government bodies and education networks.
  • Cultivate a visible, trusted public profile in education for yourself and your team.
  • Gather, manage and prioritise product and user requirements.
  • Define, develop and communicate the product roadmap with leadership and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Establish the product value proposition and key use cases, continually refining to achieve strong market fit.
  • Work with the Content delivery team to scope, plan and monitor projects for timely and successful content delivery.
  • Measure the success of your strategy and roadmap through adoption and revenue metrics.
  • Collaborate with the software product managers in development of the EP platform, providing teaching and learning insights to ensure products are instructionally sound and learner-centric.
  • Support customer-facing teams through customer engagement, RFP input and pre-sales activities.
  • Keep product documentation accurate and up-to-date with technical writers.
  • Partner with Marketing to plan and execute successful go-to-market launches.
  • Serve as the escalation point for urgent customer and product issues.
  • Embrace continuous discovery to uncover and validate qualitative and quantitative user insights.
  • Maintain a close connection with students, teachers and school leaders to understand their evolving needs.
  • Use a user-focused, data-informed approach to quickly test and iterate potential solutions.
  • Monitor the Edtech market to ensure a compelling and competitive product.

Course design:

  • Partnering with Learning Design Managers to support effective course implementation, including topic mapping, lesson sequencing and creation of learning objectives to ensure logical progression and coverage in each course.
  • Courses are clearly mapped to the curriculum and provide links between curriculum levels and clear difficulty/complexity progressions within each level.
  • The structure and layout of learning pathways to ensure effective course organisation, including ongoing maintenance.

About you:

  • Qualified educator with experience teaching English in the classroom.
  • Experience in building empowered teams and leading product or content development efforts on high-growth products.
  • Understanding of commercial drivers and market competition, with an ability to make decisions that reflect this.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support the delivery team to create high-quality products that deliver strategic goals.
  • An adaptable and collaborative leader who quickly gains and holds the respect and confidence of others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain productive, professional relationships with internal teams, external contractors and users.
  • A team player able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to improve standards, processes and workflows.
