We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join the team at Carlisle Tavern. If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading from the front, and thrive in a fast-paced venue environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Duty Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, support and lead staff, maintain compliance, and ensure every guest enjoys a great experience. You'll be a hands-on leader who can confidently manage busy service periods while maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive team culture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead staff across all areas of the venue
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues
- Monitor RSA compliance and patron behaviour
- Handle cash, tills and shift reporting
- Train and support team members
- Maintain venue standards and safety
- Assist with stock control and venue upkeep
- Support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations
What You’ll Bring
- Previous hospitality leadership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a team
- Current RSA and RSG 3 certificates
- Eligibility to obtain required SA licensing approvals
