Edge Glass and Aluminium is an established commercial aluminium/glazing company in Tullamarine currently seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our factory team in the manufacturing of commercial aluminium frames, doors and windows. We manufacture a wide variety of Aluminium fixed/sliding windows, hinged/sliding and bifold doors, awnings and more for both commercial and residential applications.
Applicants need to possess the following skills:
- Ability to accurately read and understand shop drawings and plans
- Understanding of fabrication of windows and coordination of materials, assembly and production
- Effective liaison and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers for ordering and supplying of materials
- Understanding, maintaining and implementing Safe Work Practices
- Effective communication with staff and management team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Hands on experience in manufacturing of aluminium frames, doors and windows
- Operating power and hand tools
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Forklift license preferred, but not required.
