Landscape Supervisor in Adelaide

As part of the ecoDynamics Group, we deliver innovative environmental and civil solutions across Australia from large-scale hydroseeding and mulch blowing to soil management and landscape construction. Our SA team is growing and we looking to appoint a Landscape Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role with primary responsibility for overseeing irrigation works across our landscape projects.

You will coordinate crews, manage resources, supervise installations and ensure irrigation systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors and site teams, you will help drive project outcomes while supporting broader landscape construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee irrigation installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet project specifications.
• Plan and schedule crews, equipment, materials and daily activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
• Supervise Foremen, Team Leaders and site crews, monitoring productivity and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Read and interpret landscape and irrigation plans, identifying potential issues and coordinating practical solutions on-site.
• Establish and maintain site depots, ensuring teams have the tools, equipment and PPE required to complete works efficiently.
• Work closely with Project Managers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate works and achieve project milestones.
• Maintain accurate site records, track labour and variations, and assist with as-built drawings and project handovers.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles, equipment, depots and facilities.
• Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, identify and manage workplace risks, report incidents and promote a strong safety culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience supervising irrigation installation and landscape construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, controllers, installation methods and troubleshooting.
• The ability to read and interpret irrigation and landscape plans.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate crews and manage competing priorities.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, quality and environmental practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and teams.
• A current driver's licence and relevant industry qualifications or experience.
