We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dedicated and outcome driven Program Architect to join a leading company based in Sydney. This exciting opportunity will provide you with challenging yet rewarding work. EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three years of telecommunications industry experience, including online order management systems experience within the following industries: cellular, landline, cable, internet, incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC), competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), or interexchange carrier (IXC).
- 6+ years of experience working in development teams using Agile development techniques, through full project lifecycles.
- 6+ years of experience building Java applications.
- Experience with the Spring framework, JDBC, Maven and other Java related technologies.
- Experience building applications using Relational Databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing cloud based applications on top of Salesforce platform.
- Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile development is a strong plus.
- A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects with an emphasis on back office systems in the telecommunications area.
- Understanding and direct experience working with an end-to-end solution across the telecommunications BSS & OSS stack, from the creation of offers to quoting to order capture and order fulfillment.
- Must be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground.
- Must be an excellent communicator; equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering an executive presentation.
SKILLS
- Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns.
- Java related technologies.
- Must have experience working with the following technologies: RabbitMQ, Apache Camel, Docker/Kubernetes.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of key processes in industry-specific BSS/OSS solutions (e.g. Quote to Order, MACD, Policy Management, Order Management and Provisioning).
- A working, technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and applications.
DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in computer science or similar engineering discipline.
- Vlocity Developer.
- Salesforce Developer.
