Due to increased workload, they are currently seeking an energetic, motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to join their team at West Ryde.
About the role
- Conducting and supervising field work
- Reporting and assist in the preparation of tenders on a range of projects, including:
- Contaminated site investigation
- Hazmat and asbestos investigation
- Site remediation management
- Groundwater investigation
- Acid sulphate soil investigation
- Waste classification
- The successful candidate will possess
- 1-2 years experience as an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid Australian driver’s license
Experience in hazardous materials survey, and/or an asbestos assessor’s license is ideal but not essential.
