Glazier / Glass Component Installer

Glazier / Glass Component Installer

Full-Time On-site
E

We are an established onsite glazing business looking for a reliable Onsite Glazier / Installer to join our team.

This is a fully on-site role, not a factory position. Your day starts at our factory at 7:00am sharp to load up the work truck and head out to site, usually wrapping up and heading back to the factory by around 3:00pm.

Because we work directly on busy sites and residential properties, we deal with a variety of people every day. We pride ourselves on our reputation, so it is essential that you are well-presented, polite, and respectful when interacting with clients, homeowners, builders, and the general public.

While we offer a stable, structured routine, you must be flexible with your hours. Some overtime is required, including the occasional longer day when a job pushes over, significant travel is needed, or a project simply needs to be completed on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arriving punctually at 7:00am to load the work truck and head to various jobsites.
  • Driving the company work truck/Utes to and from sites (standard car licence required).
  • Onsite glazing and installation, primarily utilising beads and glazing rubber (glazing wedge).
  • Executing high-quality silicone sealing and wet glazing work on-site.
  • Representing the business professionally while communicating respectfully with clients, homeowners, and builders.
  • Working closely and communicating effectively with the rest of the installation team.
  • Adhering strictly to site safety protocols, safe manual handling practices, and SWMS.

What We Are Looking For

  • The Right Experience: A background combining onsite glazing experience with window manufacturing factory experience (highly proficient with beads and glazing wedge systems).
  • Technical Skills: Professional competence with silicone sealing, caulking, and wet glazing is highly regarded and favoured.
  • Professional Conduct: Well-presented, respectful, and focused on maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and builders.
  • Teamwork: A reliable team player who works well in a collaborative environment, follows project directions accurately, and supports their colleagues.
  • Reliable & Flexible: Dependable for 7:00am starts and willing to accommodate extended hours when project deadlines or travel demands arise.
  • A Keen Eye: Strong attention to detail with a strict commitment to delivering a neat, clean, and high-quality finish.
  • Requirements: A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a Construction Induction White Card are mandatory.

What We Offer

  • Company Vehicles: Access to company fleet vehicles (truck/utes) for transit to and from jobsites.
  • Stable & Safe Work Environment: Consistent pipeline of work with a professional team where workplace health and safety is prioritised.
