East Partnership is pleased to be working on this mandate for a widely recognised global investment bank with a strong track record in project finance, providing tailored financing and advisory solutions across large-scale infrastructure, energy, renewable energy and industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced project finance professional at Associate Director level to join their established team, working on complex, high-profile transactions across both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the structuring and execution of complex project finance transactions across infrastructure, energy and renewable energy projects.
  • Develop and review detailed financial models, assessing project feasibility, cash flows, debt servicing, returns and capital structures.
  • Analyse transaction risks, including credit, market, operational and project-specific risks, and provide advice on appropriate risk allocation and mitigation.
  • Prepare transaction materials, credit papers, investment memoranda and presentations for senior management and credit committees.
  • Work closely with clients, investors and internal stakeholders across credit, risk, legal and compliance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Manage the execution and closing of financing transactions, ensuring key milestones, conditions and financing requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing oversight of financed projects and ensure compliance with agreed financing terms and covenants.
  • Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to the continued development of the broader project finance team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong experience within project finance, debt advisory or a related financing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience structuring and executing complex financing transactions, ideally across infrastructure, energy or renewable energy.
  • Strong financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction structuring skills.
  • Commercial understanding of project risk, financing structures and due diligence processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global environment.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience will be highly regarded for candidates at the more senior end of the range.
