Our client is an institutional private capital investor with an active market presence and significant capital under management. The fund provides sophisticated capital solutions to Australian businesses to support their expansion. As part of its continued growth, the business is seeking an experienced origination professional to expand its investment pipeline and deepen market engagement across key sectors.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience within the Australian private capital landscape (predominantly debt financing), ideally gained across private credit, structured finance, commercial banking, or advisory businesses. Whilst this role is focused on origination, the ideal candidate with possess a strong understanding of transaction structuring and the lending lifecycle in order to perform initial analysis, together with an established network of industrial contacts, advisors, sponsors and other market participants. A commercial mindset, high levels of initiative and a natural ability to build trusted relationships will be critical to success.
Working closely with the investment, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing and converting new investment opportunities while positioning the firm as a preferred capital partner. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an active investment platform, helping drive origination activity across multiple strategies while delivering exceptional outcomes for borrowers, intermediaries and investors. Candidates may come from backgrounds including institutional banking, private credit, debt advisory, private capital funds, family offices or other alternative asset management platforms.
