You are the link between the site and our workshop. You will measure the job, make sure the information reaching our setout team is complete and accurate, and conduct QA and handover after installation. You'll run your own schedule across sites from Byron through to the Gold Coast, so you need to be organised and comfortable working independently.
Key responsibilities
Conduct site measures and review builder and cabinet plans before each visit to confirm what needs to be in place β windows, plumbing, bath frames, bulkheads, ducts, cavity sliders
Confirm with the site supervisor that the job is ready, then schedule it
Complete full digital site measures on tablet, marking up plans and flagging anything the setout team needs to know
Photograph every room and organise the job file so setout can work from it without chasing you
Follow up outstanding items before the job goes to setout
Keep the jobs tracker and calendar current
Book QA visits against expected completion dates and coordinate access with the builder
Collect install checklists and photos from installers before attending site
Work through QA checklists room by room, complete what you reasonably can on the spot, and document everything
Produce maintenance sheets, brief the workshop and setout staff on anything to be ordered or programmed, return to site to complete maintenance, and sign the job off as complete
About you
A trade or site background in cabinetmaking, joinery, carpentry or construction
Confident reading builder plans and cabinet plans, and measuring accurately
Experience on residential building sites and dealing with site supervisors
Comfortable working on a tablet β marking up plans, managing files and photos, keeping records straight
Genuinely organised with ability to manage multiple jobs at different stages
Able to have a direct conversation with a builder or installer when work isn't up to standard
Current driver's licence and construction induction (White Card)
