About the Role
As a Trade Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Panel Shop.
No two days are the same, and you will gain valuable hands-on experience across a variety of tasks.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting panel beaters and spray painters with workshop tasks
- Preparing vehicles for repairs and paint work
- Cleaning and maintaining workshop equipment and work areas
- Moving vehicles safely around the site
- Assisting with parts organisation and workshop housekeeping
- Supporting the team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
This is an excellent entry-level position for someone with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in automotive repairs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- A genuine interest in automotive, panel beating or spray painting
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- A current driver's licence or the ability to obtain one
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Previous workshop experience is welcomed but not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and eagerness to learn.
