This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Owner to take ownership of specialised digital products supporting complex mining operations. As the stand-alone Senior Product Owner for this portfolio in Australia, you'll have significant autonomy across product direction, roadmap and priorities, connecting the needs of Australian customers and field teams with global development teams across India, the US and Bosnia. This isn't a traditional Senior Product Owner opportunity focused solely on managing a backlog. You'll combine strategic product ownership with hands‑on engagement across customers, users and development teams, staying close to how the technology performs in real operational environments.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the product roadmap, priorities and development requirements across a specialised digital product portfolio.
- Engage directly with mining customers and field teams, translating complex operational challenges into clear software and product requirements.
- Partner with global development teams to align priorities, influence delivery and keep stakeholders connected to product direction.
- Coordinate release testing, user acceptance testing and product rollout activities.
- Act as a key contact for customers and field teams, providing initial triage and driving product issues through to resolution.
- Work autonomously across competing priorities while maintaining strong collaboration with technical, operational and customer stakeholders.
The position is Brisbane based and includes travel to mine sites, anticipated at approximately 20%.
