The Practice
This is a unique opportunity for experienced and Registrar GP’s to work with Traditional Owners in a rich and rewarding region and to make a positive impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents. This community-controlled health organisation provides services to nine individual remote communities in the Eastern Katherine region. This inclusive Primary Health provider is dedicated to enacting their values of commitment, open-mindedness, honesty, respect, and education.
- Proactively provide primary health care services
- Collaborate with Nurses, Care Managers, Aboriginal health professionals, community-based workers, and Traditional Owners to enhance localised health initiatives
- Support with the screening, surveillance, collection, collation, and reporting of vital health data
- Facilitate the accurate and timely processing of Medicare claims to optimise our Medical Benefit Schedule claims.
Standard business hours 8 am-4:30 pm
No on-call outreach
