Duffy & Simon, a progressive leader in the legal industry with nearly 50 years' experience, requires a dedicated accounts receivable officer 2 -3 days per week. This position is newly created to accommodate business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team ensuring that arrears are kept at an appropriate level.
The purpose of this position is to maximize recovery rates, enter into negotiations and decision making in relation to payment arrangements, settlement offers, and resolving or escalating any issues that arise associated with debt collection. You will work closely with partners and lawyers to gain their insights and support.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing outstanding accounts including client calls and correspondence
- Negotiating and setting up payment plans and settlements with clients
- Delivering exceptional customer conversations
- Regular reporting to the partnership group
- Adhering to all regulatory and legislative requirements
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve collections performance
This role is well suited to someone who has proven experience in a similar role with excellent written and oral communication skills. This role is also ideal for someone looking for work-life balance in a supportive fast-paced environment.
