About This Opportunity
Our Samford store in North Brisbane is currently looking for a motivated and hard‑working applicant to join and assist in leading the store's meat department.
Reporting directly to the Meat Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes and much more!
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to order and control costs
- An understanding of gross profit calculations
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands‑on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
