We are seeking multiple dedicated Roofers & Roofing Labourers to join our team at DR Smith Group in Clontarf, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will involve hands-on work assisting our experienced roofing professionals with all aspects of residential and commercial roofing projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs using a variety of materials such as tiles, metal, and shingles.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment to job sites.
- Performing general labour tasks such as passing materials, cleaning, and tidying work areas.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborating with the roofing team to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a laborer or in a similar trade role, preferably within the roofing industry.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Work as part of a team.
