Senior Showroom Sales Consultant – Pathway to Manager

Double Glazing Masters (DGM) designs, manufactures and installs premium uPVC double-glazed windows and doors across South East Queensland. Everything is made in our own Luscombe factory, using German Aluplast profiles and Viridian glass. Homeowners choose us for a quieter, cooler, more energy-efficient home, and we're growing fast.
We're looking for a Senior Showroom Sales Consultant to drive sales from our Gold Coast showroom in Biggera Waters, near Harbour Town Shopping Outlet, with a clear pathway to Showroom Sales Manager for the person who comes in and proves themselves.
LET'S BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE JOB
This is NOT a retail floor role where you wait for customers to walk in. Walk-in traffic is steady but modest, so around 70% of your day is on the phone, turning enquiries into signed jobs. The rest is looking after showroom visitors and keeping the showroom looking its best.
It's also NOT a field role. No driving to quotes, no in-home appointments. Our field sales team handles those, and you'll keep them busy.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Calling every new enquiry fast: website, Google, Facebook and Home Show leads
- Following up quotes until they're signed or properly closed off
- Reactivating past quotes and older enquiries
- Closing sales over the phone and in the showroom, and taking deposits
- Booking in-home consultations for our field sales team on larger jobs
- Welcoming showroom visitors, demonstrating our products and following up every visit
- Keeping our CRM spotless and your pipeline moving
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years in phone-based or outbound sales, with targets you've hit
- You know your numbers: calls a day, conversion rate, monthly sales
- You're happy making 60+ calls a day, and "not right now" just means "call back later"
- you ask for the sale, handle objections with confidence and get the deposit
- Well presented, organised and great with a CRM
- Experience in home improvement, solar, blinds and shutters, kitchens or similar is a big plus
- You want to step up into management, and you're ready to earn it
