Doncal Transport, a leading provider of road transport services, is seeking experienced HC Drivers to join their team in Brisbane, QLD (Tingalpa QLD based) on a casual basis working towards a full-time position. As a HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely operating rigid trucks to transport goods to various destinations.
- Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself, your vehicle, and your cargo.
- Maintaining accurate records of your driving activities, including logbooks and vehicle inspection reports.
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required.
- Participating in regular vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the fleet.
What we're looking for:
- A valid HC driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Extensive experience in the operation of Heavy Rigid Trucks.
- Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and demands.
- Capable of not smoking in the Truck and workplace.
