About the Role

This position sits within the Business Services team and plays a key role in supporting DVAC's quality, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

As the Quality and Continuous Improvement Officer, you'll lead internal audits, monitor compliance, contribute to incidents and complaints processes, and ongoing service improvements through data analysis, reporting, and project support.

Your role will directly support the development and implementation of quality frameworks and systems that ensure we meet both our regulatory obligations and our high standards of client care.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work in a values-led organisation that is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment
  • A dynamic and supportive team environment
  • A competitive salary and benefits package with above-Award conditions

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits and support external accreditation readiness
  • Monitor compliance with legislation, standards, and organisational policies
  • Review and report on feedback, complaints, and incidents
  • Maintain and analyse quality indicator data for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Coordinate Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)
  • Support the organisation's risk and compliance calendar
  • Assist with quality reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking
  • Deliver training related to quality and compliance processes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and support projects

About You

You're an analytical thinker, a strong communicator, and someone who takes pride in building systems that work. You enjoy problem-solving, are naturally curious, and bring a collaborative spirit to everything you do.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in quality, policy, or compliance roles (preferably in community services, health, or not-for-profit sectors)
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF)
  • Excellent analytical, research, and reporting skills
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience using audit, document control, or compliance systems (desirable)
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Business, Community Services, or a related field (desirable)
