We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a well‐known not-for-profit organisation, helping collect donated goods and make a positive difference in the community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‐on work, meeting new people and being out and about rather than stuck in a warehouse all day!
What's involved?
- Assisting the truck driver with collecting donated goods from homes and businesses.
- Loading and unloading furniture, clothing, toys and other donated items.
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service to donors.
- Helping secure loads and ensuring goods are transported safely.
- Completing collection paperwork when required.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when needed.
What we're looking for
- Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands‐on role that involves lifting and carrying items.
- Previous offsider, removalist, furniture delivery or labouring experience is an advantage, but not essential.
