- Picking up donated goods from homes and businesses
- Loading and unloading items safely
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Being the face of the organisation when dealing with donors
- Completing collection paperwork and keeping accurate records
- Working as part of a supportive team
- Helping out with general warehouse duties when required
This is a hands-on role, so you'll need to be comfortable with some physical work and lifting. What are we looking for? We're after someone who is:
- MR licence or higher
- Experienced and confident behind the wheel
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable speaking with members of the public
- Able to work independently while also being part of a team
- Safety-conscious with a professional attitude
Why this role? It's more than just driving a truck. The donations you collect help support people and families in the community, so you'll know that what you're doing each day genuinely matters. You'll also enjoy Monday to Friday hours, no weekends, a friendly team and plenty of time out on the road. Interested? If you've got your MR licence, enjoy being out and about and would like to do work that has a purpose, we'd love to hear from you!
