The Organisation
A well established residential aged care facility operating under a larger provider with a strong track record of developing clinical talent into senior leadership. You will be joining a stable, well resourced team including a second Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator, Quality and Compliance team, AN-ACC Coordinator, Rostering Officers and 24/7 Registered Nurses. The Role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will lead the day to day clinical operations across the facility, ensuring high-quality, safe and person centred residential aged care is delivered consistently and in full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key responsibilities
- Leading, supervising and mentoring Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and care staff
- Overseeing clinical governance, infection prevention and control, and medication management
- Managing care planning, care documentation and resident assessments to the highest standard
- Supporting AN-ACC classifications and optimising clinical funding outcomes
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Strengthened Aged Care Standards
- Partnering with the Facility Manager on continuous improvement, staffing and daily operations
- Championing a person-first, respectful culture across the entire home
About You
- Full Australian working rights
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 4 years post-graduate clinical experience — residential aged care experience is highly regarded
- Demonstrated clinical leadership experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting
- Sound working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC funding model
- Experience with care planning, clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
- A collaborative, approachable leader who puts people first
