As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to help lead and support our production team to increase our installation capability.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cabinet Maker with advanced joinery skills to join our growing team. This is a key role within our business, suited to a trade-qualified professional who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, quality workmanship, and mentoring others. This position offers a genuine career pathway into leadership and Factory Foreman responsibilities for the right candidate. You will play an important role in supporting production operations, driving quality outcomes, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery
- Interpret detailed workshop drawings and specifications
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery, CNC equipment, and power tools
- Perform advanced cabinet making and joinery tasks to the highest standard
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior tradespeople
- Assist with workflow management and production planning
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Promote a positive and safety-focused workshop culture
- Work closely with management on continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in cabinet making, joinery, and custom fit-out manufacturing
- Advanced cabinet making and joinery skills with a strong focus on precision craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Leadership qualities and the ability to guide and develop team members
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and commitment to producing quality work
