Work in an award-winning workshop where you'll lead a team of 5. You'll deliver quality customer experiences through servicing and repairing vehicles. Your time splits roughly 50/50 between diagnostic work and foreman duties.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose faults across all makes and models
- Allocate jobs and manage workflow with our service advisor
- Quality check completed work before it goes back to the customer
- Mentor / assist 3 technicians and 2 apprentices
- Explain diagnostic findings to customers in plain language
What you need:
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- 5+ years post-trade experience
- Hybrid/EV training is a plus, not essential
You'll suit this role if you:
- Explain a fault to a customer as clearly as you diagnose it
- Upskill apprentices instead of working around them
- Check your work, and your team's, before it leaves the bay
- Are able to manage multiple priorities at once
