DLA Piper's Investment Management & Funds (IM&F) practice is growing, and we are looking for a talented funds lawyer to join our team. The role will be based in Sydney. You will work across our national IM&F Australia team which operates out of Sydney and Brisbane, and be part of one of the largest investment management and funds practices in the world. You can expect to be working closely with the 3 partners and gain a blend of experience working with other senior lawyers in the team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Work across a range of funds formation and transactional work, including cross border investments.
- Transaction support on deals focussing on real assets sectors including PE, energy/renewables, debt, real estate and infrastructure.
- Provide high quality advice to a broad range of blue-chip global and domestic asset management clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
About you:
- 2-4 years PQE with experience within funds at a leading firm.
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Outstanding academics.
