DLA Piper's Litigation and Regulatory team is growing, and we're looking for a talented Senior Associate to join our Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leading litigation and regulatory practitioners while collaborating with partners and senior lawyers across our Australian and global network. You'll gain exposure to complex, high-stakes and novel disputes before superior courts and arbitral tribunals in different jurisdictions, acting for a variety of clients across a range of market sectors.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Advise clients on complex and strategically important litigation and regulatory matters
- Take ownership of key workstreams across high-stakes disputes
- Build trusted client relationships and contribute to exceptional service delivery
- Support the development of junior lawyers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Collaborate with litigation and regulatory specialists across Australia and internationally
About You:
- 5+ years' PQE gained in similar role
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent drafting and communication abilities
- Sound commercial judgement and the confidence to take ownership of complex matters
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to outstanding client service
- An interest in mentoring and supporting the development of junior lawyers
