D&L LLC is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our Apple Grove, WV operation. This is a hands-on commercial/industrial position working on the equipment that keeps an industrial facility operating. You'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial & industrial HVAC systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and system inspections
- Service equipment such as RTUs, split systems, and large-scale mechanical systems
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members on findings and solutions
- Accurately document service work, parts used, and recommendations
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment
- Experience reading wiring diagrams for HVAC service diagnostics
- Experience using meters for HVAC service diagnostics
- Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units
- Experience following HVAC service safety standards
- Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls is a plus
- Hands-on experience servicing chillers, air handlers, and air systems is a plus
- Experience with general building automation controls, including systems such as Trane, Carrier, and York, is a plus
- EPA Universal License
- Valid Driver's License
- Eligible to work in the United States
Compensation and Benefits:
- $25–$40/hour, based on experience
