DKB Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumber/Pipelayer to join our team in Bundaberg, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse plumbing and pipelaying projects whilst contributing to our reputation for quality workmanship and professional service delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and pipeline systems across both residential and commercial and civil settings. Your expertise will be fundamental to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities
Installing and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings in residential and commercial properties
Laying and joining pipes for water supply, drainage, and gas systems
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Testing completed plumbing systems for leaks, functionality, and compliance with relevant standards
Diagnosing plumbing problems and implementing effective solutions
Maintaining work areas in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicating effectively with clients, supervisors, and other tradespeople on site
Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, Australian standards, and local regulations
Using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment safely and appropriately
