Senior Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics & Complex Reporting

Glen Waverley | Full-Time or Part-Time | Early 2027 Start

Do you feel like you've been doing the same thing for years, even though you know you're capable of so much more? Do you want to step up, be a leader, but just never had the chance? Well, we might have the perfect role for you in the new year!

We're looking for a Senior OT to join us in 2027. Not just someone with great clinical skills, but someone who has a goal and wants to grow together.

About DiverseyCare

At DiverseyCare, we’re not your typical allied health provider. We’re a multi-state, multicultural and fast-growing allied health team based in Glen Waverley, supporting children, adults and families across clinic and community settings. We care about strong clinical work, but we also care about building a workplace where experienced clinicians can perform at a high level, share their expertise and genuinely enjoy being part of the team.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with at least 5 years of clinical experience, ideally with a strong paediatric background. This is a hands‑on senior clinical role. You’ll continue managing your own caseload and be someone who takes pride in maintaining strong billable performance, while also supporting the development of less experienced OTs through supervision and clinical guidance.

You’ll be particularly suited to this role if you are confident with complex NDIS assessments and report writing, including:

  • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
  • Change of Circumstances (CoC) reports
  • SIL and SDA assessments/recommendations
  • Assistive Technology and Home Modification reports
  • Other complex NDIS reports and supporting evidence

Previous experience as Team Leader or Supervisor

Minimum 25 billable hours per week

Flexible Salary Package – Up to $120,000 + Super

We offer flexible salary arrangements based on your preferred balance of clinical caseload, billable hours and supervision responsibilities. We're happy to discuss a package that aligns with your strengths, interests and career goals.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Strong paediatric clinical experience
  • Excellent assessment and complex report‑writing skills
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and evidence‑based recommendations
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior clinicians
  • Confidence managing your own caseload and achieving strong billable performance
  • A practical, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team

What we can offer

You’ll join an established and growing allied health provider where caseload availability isn’t something you need to worry about. We offer a strong referral pipeline, performance bonus opportunities, $1,000 annual PD allowance, regular team activities and a supportive multicultural team.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to be an excellent clinician and help the clinicians around them become better.

If you’re an experienced OT looking for a senior clinical role in 2027 where you can maintain a strong caseload, work with paediatric clients, write complex reports and develop the next generation of OTs, we’d love to hear from you.
