- Responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment and pipelines including pumping stations, sewer and water treatment plants, pipelines, water fleet and plant.
- Assigned activities will be performed both in the workshop and in field-based environments.
- Responsible for the general fabrication/installations of pipeline specials, structural steel components along with project work.
- Carry out General Boilermaker duties including the use of welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Responsible for the general Maintenance/installations/project work of assets and components.
- Carry out unplanned (breakdown) maintenance on failed, faulty, or damaged assets to achieve best practice.

Main tasks

Successful candidates will have the following
- Certificate III in Engineering E. g. Boilermaker
- High standard of work with attention to detail
- A recognised qualification in the safe operation of gantry, forklift, and truck-mounted cranes is desirable
- Competent in the use of computers
- Demonstrated experience of current and emerging technologies related to field maintenance services is desirable
- An understanding of industrial relations issues and a commitment to EEO and OH&S practices.
- Ability to read and follow design plans/sketches for fabrication.
