An established luxury automotive specialist is seeking a highly skilled, autonomous, and meticulous Contract Automotive Technician to support the workshop during peak periods. The role focuses on precision engineering and diagnostics for high-end European and exotic vehicles.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting advanced diagnostics, master-level troubleshooting, and precision repairs on prestige brands (e.g., Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, JLR, and exotics)
- Performing high-level mechanical, electrical, and complex engine management fault-finding
- Installing, servicing, and calibrating specialised vehicle systems
- Ensuring all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and strict workshop quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, efficient, and professional workspace
About you
- Fully qualified Automotive Service Technician (Light Vehicle) with a proven track record in the prestige sector
- Deep familiarity with European diagnostic software, factory scan tools, and modern vehicle architectures
- Previous experience as an authorised Smart Start Interlocks installer or operator will be highly regarded
- A true self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and your own comprehensive set of professional tools
- Valid driver's licence, relevant insurances (Public Liability), and an active ABN/business registration
