Full-Time

The Executive Director is responsible for leading implementation of NSLA's strategic and operational plans. The Executive Director works in a highly collaborative environment, negotiating with CEOs and senior staff from NSLA libraries to reach consensus on priority pieces of work and resource allocation. They communicate with the wider library, cultural, government, and research sectors on behalf of NSLA member libraries. The role calls for demonstrated leadership skills, high-level strategic skills, strong stakeholder management capability, budget management skills, and extensive understanding of the library sector.
