This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Bakers Delight Pender Place is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight. Training will be provided for BDH recipe.
- Inspect equipment and premisesbefore production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Evaluate raw materials and weigh ingredientsto maintain quality standards.
- Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shapedough and pastry goods.
- Prepare pastry fillingsfor various baked products.
- Operate machinesfor rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits.
- Monitor oven temperatures and product appearanceto determine optimal baking times.
- Coordinate the forming, baking, cooling, and de-panningof bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
- Glaze buns and pastriesand decorate cakes with icing or cream.
- Clean, grease, and empty baking trays, tins, and equipmentafter use.
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.
- Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4am)
- Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.
- Portray a positive attitude
- Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
- Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
- Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
- Applicants with Minimum of 1 year experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.
