- Possesses an Australian Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- Has worked for 1 year as a cook/chef in restaurants offering Indian cuisine
- Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in culinary skills
- Has supervisory/management skills to manage the kitchen staff
- Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
- Experience in controlling food costs and portions
- Be available for work on most days, including weekends
- Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
- Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
- Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
