Designer Tanks manufactures corrugated steel rainwater tanks and plunge pools. We are looking for additional staff to assist on the shop floor with the assembly process. Previous experience with sheet metal work would be an advantage but not necessary. Full training will be provided. This is a full-time role with long-term prospects. We have a significant workload.
What you'll be doing:
- Various tasks on the shop floor, including drilling, cutting, and spot welding.
- Preparing materials and setting up for jobs.
- Measuring and cutting sheet metal to precise dimensions using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Performing quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Assembling and forming sheet metal components as required.
- Maintaining equipment in good working order and reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Following all health and safety procedures and workplace protocols.
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
