Position Description
We're Hiring - Building Designer - Architectural Draftsperson.Location: Melbourne, VictoriaEmployment Type: To be negotiated.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detailed-orientated building designer - Architectural Draftsperson to join our practice.The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential design and documentation, with the ability to take a project from Design through to Town Planning and construction documentation.We are looking for someone who can work independently, mange their time effectively, and contribute to delivering high quality residential project for our clients.Key Responsibility:Prepare architectural drawings using Revit at an advanced level.Develop Concept Designs and Design Development drawings.Prepare Town Planning Drawings for Council Submission.Must have demonstrated experience with Victorian planning requirements, Rescode, and building regulations.Co-ordinate the drawings and reports of secondary consultants working on the project.Ensure accuracy and consistency across all projects.Manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.Essential Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.Advanced proficiency using Revit is essentials.Experience preparing residential planning permit applications and associated drawings.Ability to work independently.Must have excellent communication skills.What we offer:Opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects.Supportive and professional environment.Flexible working arrangement, subject to experience and business requirements.Opportunity for professional growth and ongoing development.Remuneration negotiated based on experience and skill.
