About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Building Designer or Graduate Architect with ideally 5+ years' experience working within the Western Australian building design industry. You will need to be confident dealing directly with clients and capable of progressing projects from the initial design brief through to completed documentation.
Projects include:
- Luxury custom homes
- Medium-density residential developments
- Builder-designed homes
- Extensions and renovations
- Retail projects
- Hospitality projects
- Public and commercial developments
For candidates based in our Victorian offices, the role will primarily involve working on Western Australian projects alongside our Bunbury team.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' relevant building design experience, preferably within WA
- Strong Revit skills
- Excellent knowledge of the WA R-Codes and NCC
- Good understanding of estate guidelines, MCPs and developer requirements
- Strong residential and commercial construction knowledge
- Ability to interpret a design brief and complete drawings with minimal supervision
- Ability to conduct client meetings and site measures
- Experience coordinating councils, consultants and relevant authorities
- Ability to manage client expectations and project deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and written English communication skills
