A national Tier 2 construction group with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects is looking to appoint a Building Services Engineer. This contractor delivers major commercial, mixed-use and institutional projects across NSW and offers genuine long-term career progression within a highly structured and professional environment.
The role:
- Reporting to the Services Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of building services across large-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Supporting the design development, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of building services.
- Managing and coordinating multi-discipline services packages (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, BMS, etc.).
- Working with consultants and subcontractors to resolve design and constructability issues.
- Assisting with value engineering and services optimisation.
- Monitoring short-term programmes and site progress.
- Ensuring compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and relevant authorities.
About you:
- Degree or Trade qualified in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience working for a head contractor or major subcontractor working on commercial construction projects.
- Strong technical understanding of building services.
- Confident working in a site-based delivery role.
