About The Role
The Senior Business Analyst identifies and translates complex business needs into practical technical and operational solutions that support departmental priorities. Working under the Manager – R & L Projects, the role operates independently within agreed priorities and established governance frameworks, without delegated authority for policy approval, budgets or people management.
The role analyzes business processes, data and operational requirements, develops clear requirements and insights, and contributes to project delivery and service improvements. It builds strong stakeholder relationships, applies consistent analysis methods, identifies risks and improvement opportunities, and provides evidence-based advice to support informed decisions and effective outcomes.

- Looks for opportunities to improve processes, tools and ways of working, contributing practical ideas and supporting agreed improvements.
- Applies systems thinking to analyse business processes, information flows and operational issues, understanding how changes affect the wider environment.
- Understands customer and stakeholder needs, using feedback and data to improve analysis and service delivery.
- Builds effective working relationships through active listening, clear communication and collaboration to resolve issues.
- Delivers assigned tasks on time, manages competing priorities, maintains accurate records and escalates risks or issues when needed.
Qualifications And Experience
You’ll bring:
- Experience relevant to the capabilities of the role including advanced analytics skills in various BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI
- Previous experience in business analytics and data analytics or a related discipline highly desirable
