Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre comprises nine aged care beds, five acute beds, an Outpatient and Emergency service, physiotherapy, x-ray, podiatry/footcare and visiting services. Flinders Island is a rural and remote tier one facility well supported by GPs, with a welcoming community of approximately 900 people.
The Role
Under supervision, and in accordance with Agency policy, legal, regulatory, and funded program requirements, the Health Care Assistant provides high quality care and support to community and/or facility-based clients and assists with a range of daily living activities that a person would normally do for themselves.
Details of appointment
- Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary $65,827 to $68,854 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
