Denman Village Early Learning Centre is a privately owned 96 place early childcare centre located in Denman Prospect ACT. Our Philosophy is based upon nurturing, learning respect and community.
We are looking for an experienced ECT or Diploma to step into an impactful leadership role. The purpose built centre has 5 rooms, 2 outdoor areas, indoor multipurpose playroom, kitchen, separate dining room, and breakout spaces for children under 2 and their families, large office, staffroom and programming room for the educators.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced educator that will guide the team, foster excellence in learning and uphold high quality educational standards. Full time role both on and off the floor. Lead and mentor the team in designing and implementing a play based curriculum.
- Manage programming, documentation and time effectively to support seamless room operation.
- Maintain high compliance standards aligned with the NQF and ELYF.
- Foster collaborative relationships with families, staff and the wider community.
Qualifications/Experience
- Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Qualified.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of National Law and Child Care Regulations.
- Strong leadership capability to mentor educators and inspire growth and guide curriculum development.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience navigating the Assessment and Rating process.
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Card.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Accredited Child Protection Training.
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and asthma Management training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
