About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented Industrial Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Sydney. This is a hands-on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer-focused individual. The role will help to deliver NSW support, including contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Sydney region. The position will require participation in the rotating on-call roster and must be flexible to work overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays if required. This is a permanent day shift position, but you may be required to work afternoon shifts to support operations where needed.

About you
In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in troubleshooting/problem-solving equipment faults, be customer-focused, and ensure high-quality service and output is delivered. Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:
- PLC experience (desirable but not required).
- Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded.
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Experience in pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions, and be results-driven.
- Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices.
- Current driver's license mandatory.
- Excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships.
