THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Industrial A-Grade Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Melbourne. An attractive remuneration package with outstanding overtime opportunities are on offer.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Hands on role delivering high quality electrical and mechanical support.
- Contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne region.
- Participation in the on-call roster and flexibility to work overtime including some weekends.
- Flexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work roster.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A-Grade Electrician (VIC recognised).
- Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults.
- Strong customer focus and quality service delivery.
- Australian Electrical trade licence (or will consider restricted electrical licence).
- PLC experience in Siemens S7 and Scada WIN CC is ideal.
- Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded.
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in hydraulic systems an advantage.
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
- Current driver’s license mandatory.
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
