You care about ideas, typography and how it all comes together. You know how to finish work to a high standard, and make the last 5% count. Delibrand is a small, independent brand, design and digital practice working with education, arts and values-led organisations. We’re growing and looking for a skilled midweight designer with proven commercial experience to become an important part of the practice.
You’ll work directly with the founder, who brings 25+ years of design experience. Expect thoughtful art direction, room to contribute ideas and real responsibility for the finished work. Your judgement and taste will be valued, as much as your ability to wrangle a brief, as well as follow one. The role offers regular days, flexibility by agreement and respect for life outside the studio.
The work
Our work spans publications, campaigns, brand communications, signage, email, video and digital design. You’ll help shape briefs, keep assets and revisions organised, and take projects through to finished, production-ready artwork. This is a hands-on design role. You’ll be comfortable exploring an idea, developing a layout and getting into the details of illustration, typography and production. Working within an established brand, you’ll know where to stay consistent and where to push an idea further.
What you’ll bring
- Strong visual judgement: a considered approach to typography, composition and imagery, supported by completed client work.
- Confident Adobe skills: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are everyday tools, not just names on your CV.
- Solid print-production knowledge: colour management, preflight and the practical requirements of preparing artwork for different formats and suppliers.
- Initiative and problem-solving: the ability to work independently, make sense of an incomplete brief and keep projects moving.
- Careful execution and dependable follow-through: organised files, accurate corrections, realistic communication and a habit of checking your own work.
- You’re curious, receptive to feedback and interested in expanding your skills. Additional experience in Figma, video, motion, 3D, code, digital marketing or practical uses of AI is welcome, but not essential.
