We are looking for a reliable and motivated Casual Storeperson/Picker to join our Melbourne warehouse team. In this role, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and be a vital link on the warehouse floor, handling day-to-day stock movement and dispatch with precision, safety, and team pride, whilst maintaining the high standards that our family-owned business is known for.
As part of our Warehouse & Distribution team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Picking, checking and preparing all sales and sample orders
- Preparing dry goods for the production line
- Maintaining accurate stock rotation and assisting with inventory control
- Participating in regular stocktakes and reporting damaged goods
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and safety
- Completing delivery documentation and ensuring courier paperwork is CoR compliant
- Customer service and administrative processing
You are a reliable, organised team player who effectively manages multiple tasks. You take ownership of your duties, and maintain flexibility for shift work. You take pride in doing a job well and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
