Anglo American’s Capcoal Mine in Middlemount, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Geologist to join our Technical Services team on a permanent basis. You will provide geological support to optimise production, identify risks and help with safe, efficient planning and execution.
Reporting to the Geotechnical Superintendent, you will:
- Develop short-term geological models
- Monitor coal quality
- Assist in mine planning
- Drill and blast design
- Collaborate with geologists and mining engineers
