THE ROLE
Join our Northern Territory project teams delivering major infrastructure projects across Darwin. We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to support the successful delivery of Form, Reo & Pour (FRP) works.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, align and dismantle formwork systems in accordance with project drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications accurately
- Assist with reinforcing steel installation and concrete placement activities as required across the FRP cycle
- Ensure formwork is erected safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers and project teams to achieve project milestones
- Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality requirements on Defence and Marine construction projects
About You
- Valid drivers licence
- Construction white card
- Sound understanding of formwork systems including Meva, PERI and RMD
- Competent in operating EWPs and working safely at heights
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
