We’re seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Sydney to join the national HV Design & Power Systems team and take on the role of technical lead for major national projects, some valued at up to $100 million.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide HV systems modelling, grid connection studies, protection studies, earthing designs, and technical advice/designs for private HV networks, solar farms, and battery energy storage systems.
- Produce technical documentation, specifications, and datasheets for electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, protection & control systems).
- Manage relationships with AEMO, DNSPs, and TNSPs.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e. g., BSc Engineering).
- CPEng or eligibility to obtain.
- 10+ years’ experience in HV design.
- Proven capability with power system modelling tools such as ETAP, Power Factory, or PSCAD.
- Experience in earthing design and simulation software (e. g., CDEGS).
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards.
