This position is based out of our retail business, Griffith Feed and Grain, in Griffith NSW and reports to the Retail Manager.
The role is hands on, working a Tuesday to Saturday roster and responsible for the day to day operations of the retail business and staff members in the absence of the retail manager.
The role will receive a high level of support from our experience retail manager who will provide time and training in order for you to obtain a good understanding of the business and our products and services.
Once the successful applicant has developed a clear understanding of their role, they will be afforded a high level of independence in carrying out their responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
Manage the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
Manage stock levels
Actively manage multiple direct reports in the absence of the retail manager and a team of employees
Assist with the development and implementation of promotional strategies including social media
Manage open and closing of the shop and cash balancing

High level of organisational skills
Physically fit/able
Ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Systematic and organised approach to work
Good IT and MS Office suit skills
